Hello All,

As you may or may not be aware the mens first team have made it into the playoffs. They will be played at Haslemere hockey club (http://www.haslemerehockey.com/directions/) and we (both the men's and women's Club) thought it would be nice to give them as much support as possible.

Their first game is at 1.00pm Vs London Wayfairers

Then if they win that they will play the final at 1.00pm on the Sunday

If enough people want to come we will try and organise a mini-bus for the Saturday (which will leave at around 10.30), please email us at mkhockeysocial@hotmail.co.uk if you are interested.

The Club's Annual General Meeting is to be held at the club house, Woughton-on-the-Green, on Thursday 29th May at 7:30 pm.

An agenda will follow in early May.

I am currently looking to recruit volunteers to help at the Bucks Youth Games at Milton Keynes (Woughton on the Green) on Saturday June 7th. 
 
We are looking for young umpires to help out in particular, maybe those who have just done their umpire course/about to do it and would like some practice (it’s 9 and 10 year olds that you will be umpiring).
 
Also if anyone would like to volunteer to help with things like timing, scoring and anything else please let me know ASAP.

Hockey Leadership course to run at Tattenhoe Sports Pavilion, near Milton Keynes during the first week of the Easter break, on Mon 7th, Tue 8th and Wed 9th April. Times will be 10-3 on the Monday and Tuesday and 10-4 on the Wednesday.

For junior players and their parents the club will be willing to pick up costs provided you support ongoing junior training or umpiring. See the downloads section for forms. Please confirm to me or one of the other junior coaches if you are applying to attend the course. In the first instance please apply direct.

Great Britain will take on Argentina at Sonning Lane in two internationals on Monday 12th May and Tuesday 13th May. Both matches will push back at 1900hrs.
